Dedication to Quality
Mount Kenya Noir Coffee Limited is dedicated to consistently identifying, sourcing, and roasting the highest quality coffees available. Founded by Muchiri Nyaga, a third-generation farmer, we began roasting our coffee in 2023, a decade after gaining an understanding of specialty coffee and collaborating with coffee enthusiasts both on the farm and at the roastery. We decided to use “Mount Kenya” due to our location, and “Noir,” meaning dark, was a special dedication to my friends Louis Strol and Raphael Prime, who are French nationals and who encouraged me to start and also learn about coffee. Our signature coffee celebrates and emphasizes the influence of the region, its terroir, and the craftsmanship of the farmers in every bean.
